About Emmanuel Church Of Christ Mission Nigeria

Reverend E. Jack found Emmanuel church of christ mission in 1928 in collaboration with missionaries from Ireland and Scotland came to Africa to plant churches.


After traveling around West Africa and planting churches with the mission team, Rev. E. Jack returned to his hometown in 1928 and planted his first church in Ikot Hogan Bassey, Creek town in Odukpani LGA of Cross River State.

After a few months, he established the Emmanuel Church primary school as is the case with all missionary work. After two years, a new branch of the Church was planted on Kings Street, Calabar South LGA a few months later a primary school was also founded.


The Church had adopted the doctrines of Orthodox Christianity but in the early 80s, the church doctrine was reformed by the Reverend M.O. Daniel.

Prominent men of God in the persons of Rev. Jack (Calabar) and Rev. Ekpo (Creek Town) were instrumental in both the administration and expansion of the Ministry.


Today The Emmanuel Church of Christ mission has many branches in Cross River and Akwa Ibom states.
